Howitt and Youngs Family circa 1911
This photograph of Muckram shows children of the above families, the tallest lad is Len Howitt, son of George and Annie, the others are thought to be the children of the Howitt's and youngs. The Youngs were related by marriage; Mrs. Honora Young was Annie Howitt's sister. The Photograph was in the form of a Postcard none of the families no the reason for the photograph.
The end of the house, which can be seen on the left, is one of those preserved by the various scrap metal companies that have operated on this site using it as offices, stores, and a rest room as far as is known it is still on the site.
