This section of the website was primarily designed to commemorate those who served in the armed forces from Somercotes, Leabrooks, Pye Bridge and Birchwood during World War One and World War Two. In many respects the lists of servicemen are still being developed and research is continuing.
As well as the two World Wars, soldiers from the parish also served during other conflicts and during peacetime and the Society is also currently researching as many of these servicemen as possible. Information on various aspects can be found on the Featured Articles page.
