Somercotes Birchwood Chapel (SLHS C 082)

Description:		Chapel Yard, Birchwood Lane, Chapel Yard was originally built by John Smedley of Riber Castle in 1853 and known as Smedley's Yard. The original six houses were built to support the Chapel congregation, Smedley also had the Chapel erected in the same year.
