Trades in the Parish (Builders, Plumbers, Carpenters, Electricians etc)

As the villages of the parish grew, so did the need for tradesmen. Many would have originally come from Alfreton or even further afield, but as the requirement for bricklayers, plumbers etc. increased, these tradesmen appeared in Somercotes and Leabrooks.
The job descriptions in the lists below are those taken from the directories, and should be used as a guide.
